Fivetwoeight, who is owned by Mr Raed El Youssef, headed to Kempton for his second start after an encouraging 3rd at Kempton last month.

Ridden by Luke Morris in the 12 runner, 6 furlong maiden, he was drawn1, jumped well and tracked the leaders on the rail, sitting second, he was asked for an effort at the cut off, 2 out and kept on, the penny dropped half a furlong out and he sprouted wings to go on and win by a length for trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam.

This was a very pleasing performance from this Goresbridge Breeze Up purchase.
