The El Catorce home bred colt, out of Sky Crystal and by the popular stallion, Bated Breath, topped the October Book 3, first day at Tattersalls yesterday.
Consigned by Castlebridge, he was knocked down to Joe Foley, on behalf of clipper Logistics, for 85,000 guineas.
A half brother to the listed placed Pellucid, he is a good looking colt who moves well, and we will be following his career closely, and wish his new connection’s all the best with him.
Adam who was there to oversee the sale said “We were happy to keep the colt to a certain level, but the farm is to be run on a commercial basis and we were happy with the result.”
