Al Asef broke his maiden tag in style yesterday, winning the 32Red Casino Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton, by 4 lengths from Midsummer Knight.
Daniel Muscutt rode, and got him into a good position, just tracking the leader for the first four furlongs, he was shaken up to take the lead a furlong out, he put the race to bed quickly, driven out hands and heels to win well.
Al Asef is the latest winner that has been bought at the Gorsebridge Breeze Up Sale, by Adam, for owner Mr Raed El Youssef.
Al Asef has now earned himself a well deserved break, before coming back for a spring campaign.
