The “Beast From The East” hit headquarters this week, with temperatures dipping to -6 and making conditions very challenging.
However, it was not enough to make Newmarket grind to a halt, with stable staff, trainer’s, stud staff, heath men, vets etc all battling the elements to make sure the horse’s all got exercised, fed, watered,cared for and the canters were all kept open, to keep the show on the road.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to them all for braving the sub zero temperatures and carrying on as well as they could!!
