Aljari won his second race yesterday evening from only three starts, taking the TOTEPOOL CASH BACK CLUB AT TOTESPORT.COM NOVICE STAKES at Chelmsford, for owner Mr Raed El Youssef, and trainer Marco Botti.<\/p>\n

The son of Quality Road jumped smartly and was settled in behind the leaders for the early part of the six furlong race, turning for home, jockey Luke Morris asked him to quicken, and he came on and off the bridle, running on, but showing signs of inexperience, eventually, the penny dropped and he ran on strongly to win by a length and a half, with a bit in hand.<\/p>\n
