\t\t\t\tEl Salvaje had his second run of his career last night, in the competitive Only Way Is Getitprinted.com Novice Stakes ( Class4 ) at Chelmsford.<\/p>\n

The race was over a mile, and Luke Morris rode for trainer David Simcock.<\/p>\n

He was a little slow away, and was settled towards the rear of the main group of 6 runners where he travelled well.<\/p>\n

Three furlongs out, he was asked to quicken as the leaders started to wind up the pace, he responded well, but the gap closed in front of him, and Luke had to switch him right and come round horses, he ran on well, doing his best work at the finish, but the Gosden\/ Godolphin horse was not for catching, and El Salvaje finished 3rd, beaten 3 lengths, but with another 5 lengths back to fourth.<\/p>\n

He still looked a little green and will come on again for this race for owners Talentschmeide Racing.<\/a><\/p>\n
