Aljari won the feature race at Newcastle yesterday, taking the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap in style.
Drawn 1 of the eleven runners, he jumped out ok and was settled at the back of the field by Dougie Costello.
He travelled well and when asked to quicken 2 out, he did so impressively, travelling the strongest of the field, he bravely went between horses and hit the front with half a furlong to go, and stuck his neck out to win by a length.
This is the fourth time he has won for owner Me Raed El Youssef and trainer Marco Botti and only having ran 9 times, after being bought at the Goresbridge Breeze up sales in 2018 from consigners Mayfield Stables.
