Zain Sarinda won on his second start last night at Wolverhampton in the Betway Maiden Stakes.
The good looking son of Churchill who was purchased at Book 2 in October 2020 by Global Equine Group is trained by Tom Clover.
It was run over 9 and a half furlongs, he was drawn 10 of 11 runners and Luke Morris rode.
He jumped ok and Luke managed to get him over towards the rail to sit just behind the leaders where he travelled well. The fog was fairly dense, so vision was limited, but coming round the final bend, he kicked for home, was carried left by the eventual runner up, but he kept on and won convincingly by a length and a half, going away. The first three horses were 11 lengths clear of the rest of the field.
This was a great win for owner Mr Elbashir Elhrari and it will be good to see Zain Sarinda on the turf in the spring.
