Aljari, carrying top weight just couldn’t hold off the well-handicapped winner in this competitive race at Wolverhampton. Travelling easily through the race, he eased into the lead and pulled away a furlong out, but was just outpaced in the final 100m, but was well clear of the rest of the field to finish 2nd.
