Grand Libya continues his solid form, switching to the turf at Yarmouth, he was unlucky to be drawn away from the pace, but was the best horse in the middle of the track on the day. Jumping on terms he was held up behind horses in the middle of the track, but with a slower pace than the stand side rail, it didn’t suit his running style and he was keen through the mid-section. Allowing to stride on he then made smooth progress, to take up the running, but the winner found another gear and faster ground against the rail and kicked clear, with Grand Libya winning his battle for second. Another fine run from Grand Libya.
