Aljari paid off the patience his owner Mr Raed el Youssef has shown with him by taking the Follow @attheraces On Twitter Handicap at Lingfield last night.
The 7 year old was ridden by Rab Havlin in the class 5 handicap, who had him in a handy position from the break of the 7 furlong start. When he sent him to the lead in the final furlong, Aljari showed his turn of foot and scooted clear to win by 2 and a half lengths.
This was a great performance from one of the favourites at trainer Tom Clovers yard
