Resonance defied her odds of 33/1 to finish second in a competitive fillies’ novice stakes at Newmarket yesterday.
The daughter of Dark Angel was ridden by Andrea Atzeni for trainer Marco Botti, drawn 1 of 8 runners over 7 furlongs on good to soft ground.
She jumped a little awkwardly having nothing to her outside she hung left out of inexperience , but started to make progress from 2 furlongs out, knuckling down and really striding out to finish second to a Godolphin homebred filly.
This was a great run for the Raed El Youssef owned filly and hopefully it won’t be long until she in in the winners enclosure for him.
