Daysofourlives came from last to first to win the Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap at Chelmsford yesterday.

Stepping up to 10 furlongs for the first time, he was ridden by Stefano Cherchi and drawn 3 of the 7 runners in the feature race of the day.

He was dropped to the back of the field and relaxed better than he has done in any of his previous races.

Coming round the final bend into the straight he was asked to pick up, which he did, passing horses and switched to the rail, he got up in the last strides to get his head over the line to win by half a length.

He continued trainer Marco Botti’s great form and it is testament to regular rider Eric’s patience that he is progressing so well.

Owner Raed El Youssef picked up another valuable prize with the good looking son of Churchill.
