Seprani made a great start to her 2018 campaign when she ran in the FCL Global Forwarding Apprentice Handicap, over 6 furlongs at Wolverhampton this evening.

The plucky daughter of Sepoy was given a great ride by  Gabriel Malune, jumping smartly and tracking the leaders, before being sent for home coming round the final bend. She quickened up nicely and hit the front in the final furlong, but was beaten by the well backed favourite.

The tough little filly battled well and kept on to finish second, beaten 3/4 of a length.

Some of the Book 3 partners were there to cheer her on, and give her a well deserved pat when she came in.
