The tough filly Seprani ran another cracker in defeat today, to finish 3rd in the Jollys Jewellers Fillies’ Handicap at Doncaster this afternoon.
It was her first try over 5 furlongs, jumping off, and settling mid division of the field of 7 well seasoned sprinters, being asked for an effort, by Gabriel Malune, just before the furlong marker, she responded well to quicken up and stayed on to finish 3rd, beaten 1/2 a length and 3/4 of a length.
This was yet another gutsy performance, from the consistent filly.
